Well, barely less than two weeks...my next trip starts on the 16th. Since, it's very cold at home today (it was 9 degrees when I woke up), I am looking forward to knowing it won't be that cold while I'm on vacation. I'm also looking forward to the many fun things I hope to see and do while in California.

One of the thing that I know I will be doing is going to the "Tutankhamun and the Golden Age of the Pharaohs" exhibit at the DeYoung. I've been looking forward to this exhibit and am happy that I'm actually going to be able to see it. Apparently, with the purchase of your ticket to the exhibit, you get a Pharaoh's Gold Card offering discounts at some participating Bay Area restaurant and retail merchants. Discounts always help ease the pain of ticket prices...hopefully I'll be able to use at least one discount while I'm in San Francisco.
In conjunction with the King Tut exhibit, the DeYoung's sister museum, the Legion of Honor, is hosting the exhibit: "Very Postmortem: Mummies and Medicine." The Legion is also currently hosting the exhibit "Cartier and America" and, since I also make jewelry, I am interested in seeing the Cartier exhibit. However, I am most interested in seeing the King Tut exhibit--which runs until March 28--so I know for sure I will be seeing it.
More on what I'll be doing in upcoming posts.
